Cookies

Oh My Diff does not currently set cookies or use advertising trackers.

Analytics

We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Visitors are told apart by a hash of the request that resets every day, so you can’t be followed across days or sites.

Browser storage today

The GitHub star count is cached in your tab’s session storage for up to an hour. This stores a count and a timestamp, not a visitor identifier, and is cleared when the tab’s session ends.

If we add cookies

We’ll describe what each cookie does, who provides it and how long it lasts here before introducing it. Optional cookies will stay off unless you accept. You can reject them and still browse the site.

New purposes will come with an updated notice and a fresh choice. Accepting is not blanket permission for future uses.

Your choice

There are no optional cookies to accept right now. If that changes, we’ll ask you here and show a cookie banner.

You can return using the Cookies link in the footer to change your choice at any time. Once cookies are introduced, we’ll remember your choice in this browser for 180 days using local storage. This preference won’t be used for tracking.

If your browser blocks storage, your choice will only last while this page is open. Clearing browser data removes any saved choice.
