Tool absorb

When the model asks for several reads at once, runs them as one merged step, and runs a read that appears twice only once.

Install

OMD+: installed and off by default. Manage it from /mods.

OMD Core: install it, then turn it on:

$ omd install omd_tool_absorb

$ omd mods enable omd_tool_absorb

Merges only responses made entirely of allow-listed reads, such as cat, rg, sed -n and git diff.
Each read keeps its own call ID, permissions, approvals and result.
It saves repeated work and context, not time. /absorb shows the merges.

You approve these when you trust the mod, and again whenever its source changes.
